The Informations were met by storm of love when they put their first two tracks on MySpace a couple of years ago, and it hasn't ended yet. The request we get most often here at Speed of Sound is: "Is The Informations album done yet?" People - strangers - have come up to us on the street to ask this question.
So... To calm some nerves, this is to let you know that the album - that we though was done a year ago and then again half a year ago - has entered the final recording stages now. The cover is done (and beautifully!) by our British friend Arran. (Check him out here: http://plop-sensation.blogspot.com)
Last we checked The Informations were in the studio with Jannis from Choir of Young Believers and Mikkel Holtoug. Since then there has apparantly been some trouble locating the files (?) on the computer, but we're told it's really just a matter of cleaning it up now.
SO, we hope to have the album out late 2009.
