The scope of Shaque Lilli's programmed pop masterpiece Love Child is big... We haven't heard ambiguous and masterful songwriting like this since Prince in his heyday. And the moody nature of the music reminds us of Sade as much as Imogen Heap.
Shaque Lilli is the alter ego of Caroline Franceska, an immensely gifted singer who surprised us by also being a brilliantly audacious producer and programmer with a unique sound.
When Caroline played us the first songs from the album Love Child we pleaded with her to allow us to release the songs, just as they were. This is the next level, another step on the musical evolutionary ladder.
For us at Speed of Sound our entire existence will be justified when we release this album. This is what we set out to do!
